Thread: Honda HX Rims, +45 too much offset?

Hey guys,
I was curious if anyone has ran factory Honda HX wheels on a B13 before?

I have a set on my b13 currently but it rubs quite a bit on the spring perch of my AGXs in the front (which after a year of driving caused a blow out :cry

The wheels have a +45 offset and i'm wondering if spacers would fix this or if the offset is too great.

Current tire set up is 205/60/14

For me 205s come very close to rubbing on B13s especially in the rear. With that offset I'd bet it almost rubs in front. I think stock is +40 or +38

You would ideally get a lower offset wheel but some spacer would be on my list. IT must look weird though no? The wheels trying to hide in the wheel wells.

Make sure the wheel center bore will work.

yea brahh. you need to bore out the center hub for them to fit, i had some slicks on gsr wheels and had to do that.

but to answer you ? i think they will rub on the inside.

yeah the hubs have been bored already and the wheel mounts properly.
I have no rubbing on the fender itself just on the spring perch on the strut, am I correct that the offset would affect this?

Maybe a 205/60 is just too wide/tall for a 14x5.5 wheel

dude just goand get a 5 mm spacer and be done puts them to +40

i had 205/55/15 and that looked a lil wierd...i cant imagine a 60
