Thread: What combo do you guys recommend??

I've already posted this. But I'll repeat it for you.

His first post has content that is:

• Repeated on a quarterly basis
• Already covered in countless threads
• Inflammatory
• Unanswerable

Don't be silly, nobody said it can't be done. It's just not condoned if you actually like cars or like driving your car. And if you don't have the patience to look into it yourself, you sure as hell don't have enough patience to make it happen.

By the tone of his first post (and if history says anything), I doubt there's a will.

seems like in this forum (for it certainly isn't a community) there are some celebrity members that can do whatever they like and have nothing happen

also some of the Insults thrown at the Guy were worse than he gave out so why aren't those guys banned also? is it cause the sheeple want to fit in here so they dont speak out against these 'celeb' members?

one thing I learned long ago is post count means nothing, and discrimination comes in many guises!

I think it's time to shut this down, the only thing going on now is divisive at best and incendiary at worst.

Suffice it to say to anyone else who comes looking for advice on how to slam their fwd Nissan should make notes on the following summary:

- A majority of the members of this forum do not know how to nor would even attempt to slam their cars. When you openly state that you have read the entire suspension thread, don't follow up with a post asking how to do what it tells you not to do.

- Understand that those who have pulled the slam look off have invested upwards of $3000 in suspension and chassis upgrades. Within the last 24 hours I personally spoke on the phone with javcrodgz and online chatted with kaotekxe. Both guys have major investments in their beautifully executed slammed fwd SR powered cars. They had to go through several variations to get the final result, and it was not done for $700-800. They have had to have suspension pieces modified, and experienced axle issues that resulted in initial failure. This is not a job you can tackle "on the cheap" which is something we will all have to continue to deal with since the initial investment on these cars is so small.

- And please don't follow up with childish, inflammatory posts attacking the "old school" members who make up the majority of the forum and aren't building cars like you want to build. Try pming someone who has already walked the path you are on. Disagreement in adult conversations is encouraged. Foul mouthed name calling and insults gets you a time out, and if you continue gets you banned.
