949 center caps,wtf?
Whats up with all the 6UL wheels with no centercaps?
Maybe I am being picky, but Damn...I hate seeing nice wheels on a nice car...then you see the axle nut in the front
Whats up with that?
I have a set of Konig Feathers that the caps are too shallow for the front to clear the axle too
I am trying to find a cap that will work on these as well.

Anyone have a set of 949s that are running nissan axles and a centercap??

This company might have some that will fit...They might need some modding tho

People usually have that problem with aftermarket wheels, what the do is cut the axle so they don't have that problem....

What are their center caps made of? All plastic caps melt under extended, hard braking. Plastic center caps are for grandmas.

The 949's were designed for racing use. Racing wheels generally don't use center caps.

This.

I'm picky too. That's why I have the dust covers from the rear up front as well.

How did you get that to work,Ben.That is a good option.

NissanGuy mentioned the typical solution, which is to cut the axle protrusion short. Bonus is that it makes axle removal easier.
(And you could get your Konig center caps installed this way too I bet, just watch those temps.)

I did it a bit differently. One of the very few pluses of needing spacers up front means that I can put the dust covers on after the hub-centric spacer and slide the wheel over that. The extra thickness of the spacer allows the dust cover to clear the long axle protrusion. I've put a little electrical tape on the dust cover itself to quite down the rattling since it isn't exactly sandwiched between the wheel and spacer very well. It has a little wiggle room.
