It's not that dirty if you're thinking of sewage pipes? This type of pipe is used for fire sprinkler systems, and water.

Fancy tool...Thats no fun burn em out ! (although awesome tool! :bigthumbup

You don't need a press for any of it (even though you can get a press for around $100 that will pretty much pay for itself). The alternative to using a press is just jacking up the car and two boards and putting the bushing in between with lots of lube. If it doesn't go in the first time just jack the car up and do it again... or maybe just make the fancy tool

You really need to find a threaded rod coupling. The reason is because it is like 4 normal nuts all stacked into one long nut, and you need to grease the rod with axle grease. If you do this there will be no issues except for the bushing in each of the front a frames. I didn't strip out any rod when I used the rod connector. It just broke the rod from stretching it so hard.

I live in Holland, such part is hard to get I'm quite sure.

But thanks for the link, I'll send that to a Dutch friend who might know what it is called in Dutch, then I can order it probably easy enough.

koppelmoer indeed!

I sourced them today :P First shop had round ones :/ second shop went like first shop has. Third shop carried them, I was amazed.

koppelmoer means 'couplenuts' ... :S :P

However I'm still a bit lost on the 2.5" cap. It seems familiar couldn't find something that wide as a tube and having a threading.
