That's cool stuff! I'd imagine the more modest shocks like konis that we deal with probably aren't capable of that sort of thing.

Koni can get close, but you are correct. To get tons of low speed compression rod diameter and external canisters become critical.

Like everything it is subjective, but AST has seen average and even fastest lap times go down and so have people I know and myself. Another interesting thing to see is that some chassis are insensitive to some extreme shock tuning.... Just depends on chassis.

I love my custom shocks... they ride super smooth over all surfaces (since the high speed isn't overdampened) but they take a quick set in turn and slalom awesome.
