A tire like this does not exsist. The Azenis is a great grippy street tire, but is a little noisy and will wear out quickly. That being said, I'm a big fan of them, just not on my street car. I don't know how much regular street driving you do, but you might be better off with a dedicated set of auto-x wheels and tires ( ST* legal or R-comp depending on class)

I think I'll run 205-40-R16 Azenis on those rims I posted, during the summer, and then throw on the stock B14 rims for winter and call that good

a good alternative to the azenis are the hankook ventus rs-2 ive got a set and they are much more grippy than the federals i had on before and they are not very noisy.

Thats what I'm doing, B14 15' with Hankook Icebear W300 (205 55 15') for October through med April and then Falken Azenis RT-615 (205 dd 15') for the rest of the year. I'm fine with 15' vs 16's...

I run 205/50/15 Azenis daily on my stock B14 wheels. They are holding up just fine after about 7k miles. Still have plenty of life left. I rotate them every 3 weeks though. Call me bored I guess Then again we dont get snow here in FL so we dont need winter tires

Dont count the Toyo R1R out just yet. I have a set on my auto x wheels (RPF1) and they grip right away even without having a run in. I know to get the best out of the stones they need some warming up. I cant wait for the R1Rs to come out in the 225/45/15 size

I was just thinking the same thing. The Azenis were a great tire but the newer tires out class it in grip and heat resistance. Bridgestone RE-01R, Toyo R1R, Yokohama Advan Neova and the Dunlop Z1 are all better then the Azenis. The Azenis still has price in it's favor against most of those tires. My guess is we will see a new Falken Azenis announced sometime this year for next year. I wish my Azenis needed replaced this year so I could justify some new tires. I am going to have a harder time keeping up with my Civic Si competition since he changed to the RE-01R's this year.

RT-615s are street tires. So, they are legal on the street (d'uh).

Hell, I usually run harder R-comps in the summer on the streets(I have run RA-1s and Z211s). I never got issues for running them. Note that I do not daily drive my car, however. Downtown parking costs FTL.

The RE01R is not really an option around here. They tend to be too costly. They are great tires, but as for the cost-to-grip ratio, the cost sort of brings the deal down.

those re01r's are f---ing expensive. i think tirerack sells them for 180/each(correction 150/each) and the azenis/r-s2's are about 70/each. they may have a little more grip and longer lasting tread but you can buy two and a half azenis for one re01r

Not as grippy as the Falken, but better in the wet. They are more usable as a true street tire. I've actually thought about using them as a daily tire (albeit, a pretty aggressive one).
