Who's running Azenis?
Can anyone tell me whether the newer RT-615 Azenis are road legal, my brother (he is a very know-it-all type) is trying to tell me that they are not. So then I say what about Neogens? He says they wear out way too fast. I say what about Ecstas? He says they make terrible road noise. Can anybody tell me of some good grippy tires, that don't wear out fast, with minimal road noise that would be a good DD/autox tire?

Thats what I thought!! He has the older ones on his which he claims are far superior, but based off looks alone the newer ones look like they'd have alot more grip.

On a side note, these are the rims I want to get to go along with them...

League WKR-1's
16x7 40mm offset

Can anybody tell me anything about them weight wise? I have never heard of the company before and I couldn't find a website for them, but they're from Discount Tire Direct so I think they're just something badged up by them.

EDIT

Nvm, found it

Okay, I guess they're based in Thailand and Taiwan...

Now I'm starting to wonder about these guys, but two factories, state of the art machinery, and super number one English can't be bad right?

I have run azenis old and new as well as the neogen. I got good milage out of all of them and all road legal. A very important thing is a proper alignment. Running the camber/caster plates will allow for a little less camber to be used when caster is adjusted. A good $400 investment for handling and tires.

Ecstas....who cares about noise? I found the ecsta line (except the race tires) to be oily or slippery compared to the others.

Oh and your brother is an idiot. A bunch of people came here from the other place because of the keyboard racers. Dont be one of them. Buy some tires and run them. Make your own opinion. You cant ever go wrong with the falkens, best bang for the buck.

Yeah Azenis are road legal but it's not really the smartest thing to do to drive around on them all the time, I would have a spare set to run as DD, or trips or longer trips but like auto-x they'd deffinatly be your best choice

I run Azenis on my NX all year long. They do great on dry, good in wet, and of course terrible in the snow.

Buy em up, man.

What He said^^^^^

I don't daily drive my car, but i have had mine for a couple years and are great tires. I need to upgrade to some slicks finally for track duty, but they have held there own.
