I'm no expert, but as far as I know GR-2s, or any other standard strut shouldn't be used with lowering springs. If you look on the KYB wibsite it clearly states that they are intended to maintain a stock ride height. You should go with AGX or better. I would really try asking this in the suspension section though.

Low in the front and high in the back? Sounds to ME that the springs were mixed up front to rear. The springs in the front should be in the back, and vice versa. That is why the front is in the weeds and the rear is sky high. That's also why the car bounces in the rear and hits hard in front. But no, you should not use GR2s with lowering springs.

Um, you have crap springs and not very good struts. You are hitting the bumpstops. Find the original struts and springs (from Nissan) and put them in. Your car will handle and feel SO much better.

Yea, you should go back to the original springs and start from there.

1) GR2 are stock replacement struts (read: should not be used with lower springs)
2) You have "lowering" springs (which by the way, which brand and what type are they?? And I really hope they are not cut factory springs..........)

Grab a set of stock springs, and put them on (as mentioned before). Let me know how it goes from there

Yep - your GR2s should work with stock springs as long as they have not been destroyed by bottoming out on your current springs.

If you don't have your original springs (and it doesn't sound like you do) I'm sure there are lots of sets available for purchase here from Forum members who have upgraded.

You could try posting a "Want to Buy" ad in the classifieds to source some OEM springs.
