min rebound: 1050 newton meters @ 13" per second
max rebound 2100 newton meters @ 13" per second
compression: 450 newton meters @ 13" per second

That might be useful for tuning ride quality over severe bumps, but usually handling type tuning takes place at 3"/sec and below.

Do you happen to know / have measured the motion ratios for the B13? I have an excel chart that can be tweaked to calculate damping at various velocities. I'll need to corner weight my own car to verify curb weight and f/r distribution to make it work.

I could probably come up with a pretty decent force curve for hyperco specific revalves.

This is heavy sh....nice work!

while this looks promising and nice, will these be affordable? While I am interested in nice shocks and coils a grand is about the limit of this I am willing to go. I think if you make a nice suspension with coils for a b13 for around a grand then you are doing a good job.

I hope the hypercoils make and then from there I would be interested as everyone else for some nice Konis to go along with them.

These should be relatively affordable. Even at a grand (without the springs) that is a good deal for all four corners for being a setup superior to most setups. Honestly, there's too many variables about which insert to use as it's different for your application. Rich would have to layout specific prices for each setup (spec V, maxima, or 8610-Race and paired with lowering springs or c/o) to give us a better idea. I don't think he can just throw out a number. Too many variables. So short answer, I would say yes, they are worth it.

I re-read the thread to make sure I had not missed a post. We don't have any pricing yet. ...

Affordable is a judgement call. You gotta pay to play.

Nor do I understand where you are pulling an arbitrary grand out of thin air as a "good job" and fair price for a Koni based suspension.

This is exactly how I see it.

And right now we have no idea whatsover what each corner will cost with a given Koni combination.

It will be an asset/benefit to the community if Rich decides to offer us his suspension services and expertise. I am far more interested in his willingness to work with us than I some given price-point.

Dude I know this guy and I know the prices.... pretty close anyway.

understand, I am looking for something comfortable daily driven that will look good with my Racing Harts. If the konis go way high then I will just get some kyb agxs again but I would rather have the konis. Hope he can do them for a reasonable price that is all.

As mentioned numerous times: this will cost more than $1000, simple

Truth be told, if you are not comfortable with (good) springs costing circa $300, then I am pretty sure you will not be comfortable with the price of a proper koni setup

As I said in our "wheel gap" thread, if your going to do it, do it right. And if its going to be right, its going to cost a little $$, simple. You have asked this question so many times, but yet, the answer is still the same

And as mentioned before, the reason why this community does not have many options is because people just simply do not want to ante up a few $$$ for a proper setup...............

TruthX1000

FWIW I just sold used shocks that I upgraded from for more than what a koni setup costs....

If you are
a) worried about price
b) worried about looks
c) worried about choosing agxs over koni

This is not the setup for you..............

Even if he does the housings, you still have to purchase springs, inserts, etc. So basically, the housings are only a fraction of the cost. And if you are so worried about $$$, do the housings yourself..........

Affordable is all relative however
