Now is doing all four corners a must?

This is what I had in mind. CSK's up front on GC's and AGX's out back with GC's. I like the adjustability of the AGX's in the back so I can stiffen the rear of the car when I go to the strip.

^^^ If you are worried about adjustability, take a look at Vadims thread as it is MUCH easier than most expect (read: removing rear from car to adjust or actually NOT removing to adjust)

Personally, I am simply not a big fan of mixing and matching dampers (and again, this is just personal opinion and I do not have too much experience with mix and matching dampers of different brands).

But to note, the money you save on using AGXs out back as compared to koni is fairly negligible as far as $$$ vs performance is concerned. The price difference is probably less than $150 TOTAL ...........I will do a quick search to confirm.......

Now, if you decide to do 8610s Race up front and Spec Vs in the rear, this is something I would be much more obliged to accept

I want to do this ....but I will have to do in in stages , GC coils and camberplates , then the CSKs ...inless I put it on a credit card....and I also want to buy set of 949s

If you think you are adjusting to prevent squat I think you may be mistaken.

Do AGX add lots of low speed compression with adjustment? I haven't seen dyno graphs for AGX in this application, but the compression change is usually negligible. Most all single adjustables are rebound adjust with slight cross talk.... What you feel as "stiffer" is actually the resistance of the spring returning to extension, which I don't think is what you are after.

They don't. As you said, there is no "cross-talk". AGX only change Rebound adjustment. Not compression, that is static.

That is what I'm doing, the B15 Yellow sports could be used for the rear, but the damping would be too high for my 200 lb/in Hypercos in the rear.

Very key post!!

Actually, the konis are to an extent, the same way (with the exception that, the changes made actually to translate to measurably stiffer rebound/bound) sans spring portion of the statement (as it applies to the konis)...........This statement is not directed towards you wn as I KNOW you are pretty knowledgeable in this department

This thread should be stickied LOL

As far as shortened is concerned:
- Purchase a set of Koni (Spec Vs and above)
- Get a set of housings made up (recommend picking up a new set)
- Pick up a set of GC coils (could get used to save on money)
- Camber plates (optional.........you can also make the upper mounting holes for the 17mm bolts oval as to allow lateral movement for added camber)
And have fun!!

I am confused by this post. What do you mean swap inserts for yellow's?

Are you saying don't use Koni inserts and just buy yellow's and bolt them on?
