Gotcha, mostly I was looking for information such as the typical rates of compression/expansion.

Good catch I believe you are correct

from all of the CSK threads i have read, yes, they are too stiff for the Hypercoils (in the rear).

from the calculations I have been doing, it really depends on the weight of the car

If you aren't interested in building the OEM style struts, I would be happy to build them for anyone who needs a set. I have my method perfected, like you said, it's easy.

how much per pair if you get the inserts and such?

With b13 Hypercoil Gen 2 in the front of my NX, I like the b15 Koni Yellow Sports adjusted just below half way. They really aren't overdamped, IMO.

i don't know of anyone who has said the B15 yellow inserts were a problem
in the front with hypercoils, seems its just a problem in the back with hypercoils as far as overdampening goes...

I'm going to run them in the back also, I just need 1.8 inches of spacer or properly sized washers and a longer bolt since they are so much shorter than the housing.

I think on full soft they will be fine. If not, I'll get some roadmagnets.

on full soft, sure, but then why have externally adjustable struts that you leave on full soft? I am going to have my blown set of reds setup to be externally adjustable when koni rebuilds them. meanwhile my new set of reds are going in back.

about the spacer, huge washers from home depot will do the trick. the challenge is getting the right number in there the first time so you don't have to pull the insert back out to many times..
