Can anyone take a measurement of the distance in the engine bay before the engine touches the underside of the hood. The best way to eliminate the axle bind issue is to raise the engine up, and tilt the top of the engine more towards the front. Just like the honda guys do with the K swap, might have to raise the hood a little . Basically the hardest mount to do would be the driver transmount, it would have to be an offset bolt hole, and then thedriver side would do the same. I think it's possible to do this cheaply for those that are really relaly slammed.

Don't act a fool and run hood spacers, roll hard like a real G and don't even use a hood.
