Yes as stated above you are not going to achieve better performance by going that low. But for those that want the look and dont care about performance then this is the answer you are looking for:
Because of the limited suspension travel that our cars have once the lower control arm goes beyond horizontal it starts to bind the CV axles (especially the driver side) and starts to push the axle into the transmission and wheels bearing. The real only way to correct for this is to have custom axles made that are 1/4 to 1/2 inch shorter. This isnt as big of a job or expensive as most think. There is someone here in Orlando what does it for around $200 a side. As you can see in the pic above, the RCA moves your lower control arm further down allowing to free the CV axle a little bit. You just will run into clearance issues using them.
The other problem is that because the axle is pushing into the trans it is a real PITA to remove your axles out of the trans when you go to replace them. Because of the binding this causes it in turn causes heat and your axles will wear faster than normal.
