Thread: HELP! BC Coilovers or Tein SS

Ok, so I've been doin my due diligence and researching the shit out of coilovers for my b13. I currently have Eibach Sportlines & Kyb Gr2s all around and they sug alottadick. I finally pulled the trigger and bought some progress coilovers from THMotorsports.. Long story short and lots of misinformation by them later I decide to contact Progress directly and get a turnaround time on the coilovers. They contacted me back with this...



So needless to say Progress is out.

My next choice is the Tein ss because of the shortened strut bodies and much needed suspension travel , but then I stumbled across THESE.

Supposedly these are the same guys that make all the ebay specials like K sports, but are on par quality and performance wise with the Tein Flex system which is almost double the price. All the sooby guys love these things but I know our cars are a totally different beast.

So my question is, does anyone have any experience with these? Would anyone recommend or warn about these?

WTF no more Progress coilovers?! Ugh.

Time for CSKs + GC sleeves + Eibach 2.5" springs.

I knew this a few months ago, just to clarify they will still rebuild, revalve them etc...

BC does NOT make K sports or the other ebay specials. They make Megan and a few other well known brands...

Good to know... Anyone ride in a car with the bcs? Honestly the most important thing to me is not bottoming out and getting as much travel as possible.

I would say Tein but you must choose your spring rating wisely i have Tein SS great at the track but a pain on daily road but that's because of the spring rating i have

You can try Fortune Auto, there 50mm and rebuild able are valved for the spring rates you chose. I don't know if they have one for the B13 but I I'm sure they could make one.

By the way Thmotorsports is a bunch of fuckin retards, they tried to charge me a $30 restocking fee because they assumed Progress still made these coilovers and tried saying that I cancelled the order.

In other breaking news I'm gonna go with the BC coilovers, I hear nothing but great things about them, and honestly I think someone on this forum needs to try something new. I'll let you know how they work out..
