No, what Ben is saying is that today, tires that come in size 195/55-14 generally suck and conversely almost every good performance tire is available in 205/50-15. There is a huge difference in the tires available back in the early 90's versus what we have available to us today. Go with something in 205/50-15 and you won't be sorry.
