Any one of the current batch of ST spec tires will fit your needs. Find the best deal and go with them.

I been running 205/50/15 BFG g-Force Sport as summer tires for years.

I can really carve the corners with them and they're quiet enough on long trips. The tread life is good compared to other summer only tires. I've even been caught in light snow a few times and have been surprised at how well they do for a summer only tire.

The only negative is that they are not a rain tire so I don't push them in the wet.

BF Goodrich doesn't seem to advertise them, but Costco usually has them on sale for 70.00 off a set, so 4 tires cost around 330.00.

At that price I can afford to run summer only rated tires and consider them one of BFG's best kept secrets.

I'm looking at the new handkook rs3. Haven't priced them out. I loved the RS2'S

I just purchased a set of bridgestone potenza's re-11. I haven't driven the car enough to really comment on them but they are really sticky and have a aggressive tread pattern. I had hankook rs-2 and loved them so the rs-3 should be better. But the rubber compound on my potenza seem to have more grip. They also very wide for just being a 205.

Good Thread... Strat, what tire width are you going with? I'm going back to b14's for a while...

Too bad the Nitto 555r's don't come in a 15" tire that would fit our cars. Those DR's hands down last the longest and they provide decent grip.

I will be rocking a set of their 205 55 14's on my Classic.

This would be high on my list of considerations. I have had great luck with the Hankook Ventus RS2 and they both come in great 15" sizes. Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 as mentioned also look very appealing.

The next tires I'd be looking at would be the Nitto NT-05 (poor man's Toyo R888). Or you could give the Toyo R888 a look but it is probably out of your price range.

The Nitto NT-01 might even be an option, if you're thinking you will get some heat into them. However none of these tires mentioned are going to very good in a straight line. Sidewalls are way too stiff.

You've probably already checked this out, but for thoughts on these tires and more you could check here: http://www.sr20-forum.com/suspension/29119-definitive-tire-thread.html
