The SR48-32905N lugs are "Neo Chrome" in color and look like a chromed titanium lug with heat color change.

I am about to purchase a set to go with my ARP 100-7716 Subaru studs and newly acquired pre-owned SE-L wheels (purchased on a handshake, transaction to be completed soon).

Great thread, tons of info. Thanks for the education gentlemen.

^Color makes a difference. The SR48 neos are the ones I scored. I believe they were listed at $100+ everywhere when I was searching for them.

Aha. Never mind.

I read the thread twice to make sure I was ordering the right size for my ARP studs. I still missed the higher price on the Neo Chrome ones.

I followed Ameen and went with plain old black. Should look sweet.

Edit....pretty cool feature is that the Forum asks you if you want to proceed when bumping old threads. I liked that.

I think it is to discourage any newbs from randomly bumping old threads.

In this case, I *thought* I had additional information about pricing. Call me a newb.

Edit: Added this thread to the Suspension Thread.

Those switching to 1.5 thread pitch on the wheel studs, have you figured out how much the torque spec should rise to get the same clamping load and changed your torque regiment accordingly?

No sure I see this Ben. The lower thread pitch has a (slightly) lower absolute holding strength (due to less overall surface engagement of the threads), but the clamping load of 70 lb/ft should be the same to the wheel whether it's transmited through a 1.5m patch bolt or a 1.25mm pitch bolt. I suppose there might be some very small difference due to losses going into the different ramp angle of the thread, but I'm fairly certain that the difference would be lost in the tolerances of even a very good torque wrench.
