Thread: Extended Lugs???

I picked up two sets of the SR48-N's. Now I just need the ARP's and I'll be set.

I ended up telling them to send me the neo chromes... that's all this place had in stock... I'm going to get another set in black when they come in, but they said national backorder til end of JUNE? booo

I've already lost that fight.

I have ARP studs on the b13. If my memory serves me right, I switched to 12X1.5mm to match the chromoly lug nuts that were only available in that thread pitch at the time. I also tack welded them on the backside for extra insurance. If I ever install another set of extended studs, I'm first picking up/borrowing a set of wheel stud installers...it's supposed to be so much easier with these.

As you can see they're much larger than the stock one. I put them in my car several years ago, after breaking 3 studs at the same time when launching my car. I measured out the stock stud, and did some research. These are a tad bigger on the knurl, which I wanted. I drilled out the hubs a little, and spot welded each in place. These also use a 1/2 inch lug nut, which I wanted for added strength. I REALLY don't like 12x1.25 lol. Best part about these though is the price. I'll just post the part number and let you guys find them yourselves. ARP 100-7706.

Those are mustang studs.

They're actually for some type of kit car or something. The package says speedway drum brake axle wheel stud kit. I can't remember off the top of my head what vehicle they were supposed to go to.

Can you still get them? What is your price shipped for 4 sets / Qty. of 20? I ordered from this company ARP Extended subaru wrx sti wheel stud 100-7716 [QTY20] - eBay (item 300548309365 end time Jul-26-11 09:38:31 PDT) and got them for $115 shipped, but they are currently out of stock.

yeah, I can't do $115 shipped though. And looks like ETA is end of August
