Quality lug nuts
I know I need M12 1.25
but im tired of cheap ones that rust.

Any particular kind better suited for aluminum wheels?
Any brand recommendations?

I've had good luck with Muteki. Also gorilla and Vision Motorsports aluminum lugs. Be careful with aluminum lugs and I always use antisieze.

It helps a lot to use a non-marring (nylon?) socket on the lug nuts to keep them looking their best and not remove any coating they may have (if steel to prevent corrosion).

you will want closed ended studs if you dont want rust. your in NC, so you get snow. if you can find a socket that is rubberized on the inside or something, you wont scratch them causing rust.

Currently running muteki's with my aftermarket rims. Paint chips easily. Gorillas are great durable lugs if u don't mind having the extra weight. I've also had mcguards. They've lasted and their paint coat doesn't wear even after 10 wheel changes. It just dulls a bit.

I have Muteki's now, they are reasonable, but I've only had them on for 1/2 a season, but a few changes at the track.

I liked Gorillas better, they're definitely heavier.

I have had Mcguards and Muteki's both with great results. I used the Mcguards for winter and never had rust on them.
