Thread: Anyone have any solid leads on some Dunlop Direzza Z1 *'s?

Need to buy some Star Specs for the Scoob, and would consider purchasing through Tire Rack, but I'd rather not. I've never been very fond of them, for some unknown reason. I've been a Discount Tire person, however you need to call DTD since they don't list the Z1 *'s on their website. "Please call us to place your order for this tire" to me is like blowing me off.

Anyhow, if you have leads to an online company that has VERY competitive rates, that'd be cool

i got mine from tirerack...came in less than 3 days

I've bought from both TR and DTD a few times and both have been equally great. TR usually has a better selection of wheels.

Yes I have a national account with Tire Rack as well.

Ahhh that is how. Cool. I went through a set of them last year. And just put another new set on. I'll have to hit you up when I need another set in couple of months.

Plus the more tires I pass through the shop as billed even if they aren't for the shop will help me secure better discounts etc in the future.

I got the Kook's for $100/tire though, so I don't think the same size Z1* would have been even close in price.

The starspecs are a exclusive deal between dunlop and tirerack, any third party who gets them has to buy them though tirerack, hence why you can't get a much better price than whats on tirerack.
