Help with mounting Progress rear anti-swaybar
So, today I started with removing my old blown K-Sports, to put in some OEM strut assemblies.

I also wanted to switch my Whiteline rear anti-swaybar with the Progress one.

However, I'm having problems mounting the endlinks.

If I want to mount them on the stock location, the muffler is in the way.
If I want to mount them on the lower bolt that connects the strut with the knuckle, it comes up short.

Now, the instructions mention that I need to mount them to the bolt that sits on the bottom of the knuckle. Something like "trailing arm" is mentioned.

Can any of you guys tell me where I should mount the endlink? I really need it up and running again!

They are supposed to mount on the bolts on the end of the fore / aft link. There should be a big piece of reinforced angle that bolts there.

It is reasonable clear in the instructions. If you have them look at figure 1, is shows the bolt the bracket will go on.

Send me your email if you need a copy of the instructions.

Here are some pics of mine, where they attach to that metal triangle they provided to attach to the "knuckle":

Ah, thanks. Looks like the way I thought it would.

Did you have any issues mounting it? I can't mount it properly when it's on jacks. I could[i/] try to jack up the shocks while it's in the air, but then the bar will hit the muffler when I lower the shocks again. This would be undone when the wheels sit on the ground again, but still.

So I've mounted the bar, FINALLY.

However, when I make an almost complete steering motion, the steering wheel moves by itself, to the maximum. Also, in a turn, she feels skittery.

I might have forgotten to tighten something, but to rule things out, could this be caused because I was so dumb to set it at its stiffest setting?

You need to preload the suspension when putting the bar on. And while the pics are gone from these threads, the text might help with your questions:

Yeah I did that. I put the car on the ground, aligned the L-brackets, put the car in the air again, and put a second set of jacks (I have 4) under the hubs, until the L-bracket was parallel to the ground again. I then fastened the bar to the L-bracket.

However, it's now on the stiffest setting.

Okay, so a quick update:

I've been driving around with this bar (plus some front and rear strut braces) on stock 1.6 suspension (which are a little less stiff than the 2.0's suspension) for a while now, and I can't believe how great it handles!

It handles MUCH better than when I still had my (blown) KSports and the rear Whiteline swaybar.

Putting it on, while preloading it as well is pretty hard without bridge, and I can't jack it up without having to jack up the wheels as well, when I need to do something about my exhaust though, the swaybar will hit and clench the muffler .

The easiest way to install this bar:
Jack your car up and get the rear wheels off
Unbolt the radius arm bolt and put the L brackets on.
Put your wheels back on and lower the car back to ride height.
Adjust the L brackets so the bottom flat part is parallel to the ground just like it tells you to do in the instructions. Helps to scribe a line across the Lbracket so u can make sure it doesnt move when u torque it down.
Jack car back up, remove wheels, Torque down the Radius arm bolt, making sure the LBracket doesnt twist while u torque the bolt.
Lower the car back to ride height, install the bushings onto the sway bar and mount the bar to the car.
Assemble the endlinks, now crawl under the car and install the endlink to the Lbracket, wedge a flathead between the top of the bolt and the Ubracket and then torque the nylock nut.
Do the same on the other side.
Now all you got to do is adjust the endlinks so you can bolt em up to the sway bar.
Torque everything down
Thats it.
