Not really a replacement for camber plates.

I would be concerned about the springs binding with a setup like that. Droop has also been lessened, as well as, negative camber has been added. While it might be a solution for a slammed ride, my guess is you'd be making your car hande worse, not better.

There is nothing wrong with either Cusco or Tein plates. The advantage is that the GC are above the chassis rather than below.

I've owned and used all 3 of those plates. The only issue I typically have with Tein is that the snout is usually excessively long which eats up travel.

I think that's the point he was trying to make. "...not good if you plan on lowering the car." I want as much travel as I can get, bottom mount isn't even an option to me.

My car on Cusco's and the Maxima fronts didn't bottom out very often. I personally would've preferred a heavier spring rate as well, than what the Maxima's could handle. (440) My car sat lower than most as well, so I doubt it would be as much as an issue for others as well.

The Tein, Cusco, Stillen...all mount below the chassis.

I know they all work with stock or direct stock replacement springs. Will they also work with coilovers?

Figured this was the perfect thread to ask and confirm. Hank? Veilside180sx? ...

The plates do work, but not well for a coilover setup where you lower the car, trust me i know. You want more travel not less.

GC is the only way to go, dont listen to him.

Keywords "very often". I had 325s in front on AGXs and it was a big load of crap. I did a few things wrong which made it horible. AGXs suck and Cusco plates eat up travel. It is an issue and will be for anyone who is serious about making their suspension work correctly.

If it works for you then i am glad, but in my experience it was the worst. But you also did the inserts so you were able to "shorten" the shock, big key difference. You did more correct than i did.

Therein lies the rub. I wouldn't have put AGX's on a car to start with.

I've never been a fan of them, unless you are flat broke...even then...I'd wait to get something better.

Yes Shawn Cusco/Stillen and Tein should both work fine with coilovers.

GC is the only way to go, dont listen to him. No offense, but between the two of us...I think I have a fair bit more experience. All of them have shortcomings, including the GC plates. If I was to build another B series, it would most likely wind up with 2817's on it. (8611's in the least)

Hey Veilside, can you explain with well defined reasons as to why you do not like the AGXs?? (not being cynical, I just truly want an definitive answer)

You can pm me, since I do not want to derail this thread (unless the OP wants to hear as well...........)
