Help with sway bar bushings.
Hey guys I plan on buying a progress rear sway bar this year. I also plan on keeping the stock one up front and just upgrading the bushings. Does anyone have a link for energy suspension sway bar bushings and endlink bushings for the b14, I couldn't find any. Also do you guys thinks its worth it to upgrade the steering rack bushings? Im getting a very slight vibration from about 2k-3k rpm and I think the old worn out ones may be the reason.

IIRC, Dave Coleman did a write up of the steering rack bushings in a B13. He said that they made a difference, but that they are an absolute bear to swap out, so much so that he recommended that you wait until you have lots of space to work with (ie motor swap). I imagine much of that holds true for the B14?

Enjoy the new set-up. That's how I have my B13 (progress rear with upgraded bushing on the OEM front sway). It is a wonderful set-up.

You have to have the upgraded bushings up front. The big gain is the thick washer you get with the kit. The OEM washer is too thin and fails. It is an extremely common problem for those who enjoy some spirited driving. The harder bushing is nice too, but those OEM washers have to go.

Anyone have pics of the size difference? I plan on doing the same about swapping out the control arm and front sways also with installing the rear sway.

While we are on the subject of bushings I am also going to get the rear beam bushings( the 2 outer ones) and I am going buy the rear alignment link. The only other thing I was wondering was if the other 2 inner bushings are also made in polyurethne?

Im talking about the bushings labeled number 8. I will be buying number 11 (http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=7.3120) and the adjustable alignment link (http://www.sr20-forum.com/suspension-brakes/41085-oh-fs-qt-adjustable-link-rear-alignment-link.html) number 9 in that picture.
