Thread: Any CSK for P10 G20?

Hey guys i've been looking around the suspension thread and i really like the idea of doing a CSK set up on my 94 G20-T. I've figured out if i do swap the bushings out in the bottom of a Z32 front shock it bolts right up,(only differance is the bushing and it has a lower spring perch). The only problem no is the rear, i havn't found any information about an incert that would work or if I could swap b14 fronts in my rear like the B13 guys are doing. If anyone has done this on there P10 please post up and tell me about your set-up.

Just for fun I took the time to measure the stock g20 rear struts

Monroe has a PDF document that has lengths, compressed lengths, etc that is available. You can cross-reference mounting types by length, and then compare that to Koni's catalog to see if externally adjustable inserts or shocks are available.

I actually started doing this, but I just threw away my notes a couple weeks ago. The Miata/Honda options give you some good options too since they have so many available from Koni.

Dont quote me but i thought the rear suspension was almost the same from the B13 to the P10. I know they use the same bushing kit. I also would like to do this so i could run some GC coilovers.

I looked on koni's site but the only thing i could find was a pdf with the dimensions of there real race shocks, it didn't have a single incert in the pdf. I'll try to find the one from monroe,

Dumb question-is Shigspeed a company of a person building on off suspension parts? I googled it and found lots of people talking about the parts but no offical site of info on the products

An individual guy that makes these kits for Nissans on the side from my understanding. Seems like a really knowledgeable guy. I run his CSK on my B13 and it is excellent.

Ok heres what i found on the monroe site

So it looks like they will all bolt up but i'm going to loose 3/4" an inch travel with a sentra front and gain 1/2" if i use a 94-99 maxima front lol

Guess the next step is to go to the juckyard and see what i can find lol

Does any one know the ouside diamiter of a b15 strut body(not the insert)?
