Thx ben and hpro123, in fact i´m pretty happy with the suspension, i think it´s absolutly awesome on the n14 GTI, the car rolls quite alot but it´s so well behaved and reasuring... it really makes you confortable to push the limits... unfortunatly it rides quite high, and as more movement that i would like... also the aging factor is there, and i want to restore it all, by stages, without leaving anything behind... also plan to go turbo soo need HD stuff..

The plans as they stand:

-Koni CSK´s
-Eibach springs on coil sleeves(on the soft side, near stock if possible)
-ES bushings for the swaybars
-Whiteline front offset bushing kit
-Replace ball joints on the wishbones on the ft
-ES steering rack bushes
-Strut tower bars ft and back

Any advantage on welding the wishbones like NME did on the rally gti-r´s?

I don´t want to go overkill, just a decent setup for a powerfull(ish) FWD chassis...

In regards to the rn14 and the b13 suspension. I remember I had some Gab (KYB AGX) struts for the Gtir and I installed them on my B13, the car sat higher than the KYB AGX made for the B13. The piston on the GAB was also thicker. They were also taller, but they worked. That is all i could remember.
