What color is your car? (Everyone and their damn bronze fetish...)

Rear sway bar will let you adjust out the understeer inherent in the chassis and likely still present even after your RM/AGX install. You won't understeer as much and it will help the car rotate much better in tighter corners and it will handle transitions better. Getting the balance between oversteer and understeer right in your chassis is going to probably be the best handling mod you ever do.

I have Rota Circuit 8 rims and I love them. They are slightly lighter and cheaper, but are only 15x6.5. Quite a few forum members run those on their cars. I will probably upgrade to the 949's for track duty and keep my Rotas for DD.

The progress rear sway is definitely a must. What it will do is reduce the amount of understeer your car has and give you the ability to rotate the car with the throttle mid-corner. With your set-up, I'd probably put it in the middle setting. Just realize that if you slam on the brakes in mid-corner, chances are you're going to hang your ass out.

Also look into Superpro Caster bushings, the IKEA brace, and all the different braces that are available (LCA, strut towers, etc.) See Shawn's Holy Suspension Thread for more details.

And start thinking about performance wheels and tires.

get a front sway bar too, with just the rear sway bar, you'll dial in too much oversteer and it can be unsafe at high speeds..

I beefed my OEM front sway with ES bushings, essentially stiffening it a bit more. That is likely sufficient when combined with medium or soft settings on the rear bar.

with stiff settings on rear bar, and a 30mm front bar -and- ES bushings, you can get the best cornering though.. why go with soft settings on the rear bar?

Softer settings all else being equal helps steady state cornering grip (how many G's can the car pull?).

All things being equal stiffer settings on the sway bars reduce overall grip (see above) but help stabilize the car during transitions.
It's all a trade off.

Personally I have an XE bar up front (much less stiff than stock SE-R bar as it is hollow, not solid) and the Progress bar in back (set at the middle setting). Combined with a good, factory-spec alignment the car handles great. (Combined with a shitty DIY alignment it was oversteer city).

I'm interested in a rear sway bar also. I had some trouble mounting the one from my b13 SE-R to my NX though. It contacted the muffler. Has anyone had any luck on aftermarket rear bars for NX's?

Also, as far as tires are concerned, I've got Toyo Proxes T1-Rs on b14 wheels. Love them, although I'd get lighter 15" wheels if I could.
