yeah i think they would be too, I just want externally adjustable reds or something close. I figure full soft with my "custom insert" settings of 750-1500 would be the same as a 1/2 turn up on adjustment of the standard fair 500-1000 newton meter reds - and be able to be used with a stiffer spring if I choose to upgrade later..

yeah, let me do that when I get home, the nub included?

Yes including the nub. I should be able to make some spacers from that info. Also give me the diameter of the nub.

Entire yellow portion of strut is 12 3/4"

extended strut is 20 7/8" from top of adjustment to bottom of nub

So i have ordered another B13 Koni Red directly from Koni, it's going to take 6-8 weeks to ship it, probably because they are going to have to manufacture it..

for now I'm going with this setup, then I will send the red B13 rear koni's that are currently on my car (and blown) back to koni to be reconditioned and made externally adjustable.

ok, i have cut to the narrow part, and yes, the B15 Yellow front Koni fits into the B13 Rear Housing with ease... and there will be a need for a LOT of spacer...

ok so I now have two B13 rear red inserts, obviously they fit with no issues into the rear housing, but so do the B15 front yellow inserts.

Why do they say not to use B15 front yellow inserts in the rear strut housings again? Other than the B15 yellow insert being too stiff, even on the lowest setting.. I don't know why else we can't do it..

anyway, I'm going to insert the B13 rear reds into the rear housings as soon as I can borrow a co-workers sand blaster and get my housings repainted..

can anyone take a measurement of a B13 rear strut housing and tell me how long the tube is? I didn't take this measurement before cutting into it.. and I want to get the spacer size just right..

also, when I get back from my Christmas weekend trip to KC I am gonna take a pic of the differences between my new Koni red nub on and the old one I got from Matt Oslund. The older one is a lot bigger, but the part number inscribed is exactly the same.

i really need either rear strut housings for a B13 or some measurements on the length of the entire rear strut casing..

basically from the very bottom to the top of the black painted part that houses the strut -> not to include the shaft that moves up and down ... just the black section.
