Whiteline LCA Brace Question
Ok, so I got myself a whiteline LCA brace. Got the one for the RNN14 since everone seemed unable to say that if the B13/B14 brace would clear a 3" DP, plus only he had the RNN14 brace at the time. Got it, mounted up and desided that it sits way to low:

4" is not a lot of room. But, I did notice that I had about an 1" between the brace and the DP. So, question is this: Will a B13/B14 whiteline LCA brace clear a 3" DP? If the B13/B14 model gives you about .5" to an inch more clearance then that would still clear my DP, and that would rock. Anyone, any help would be nice.

Note: No I cant fit a 3 point brace under there (progressive or cusco). Also, for you big suspention gurus, if you think the 4" will be fine, let me know. I am running AGXs with RMs GenII right now. Might switch to Konis in the future.

The B13/NX Whiteline Brace fits fine with 3" downpipe. At least it did in my case. It took A LOT of effort to stick it on there and was literally ON the downpipe. Our downpipe was custom and a little low hanging in the first place.

I wish I could tell you more...from what I can see in that picture if you draw a straight line from those 2 mounting points, it should give you a clear idea as to where it should be....closer to 1" higher.

Which brace? The one in the pick is a RNN14 brace. A little low hanging for me. I'm looking for a B13/B14 one. When I find one, I will let you guys know if there is more.

Oh, and price was about $200, shipped

^You had this on your B14 at the convention? Where did you get it? I think I have the B13/B14 whiteline brace. It hugs my flexpipe to much and vibrates. The bar is great, but I can't stand the vibration. It is coming off! You have a RNN14 link?

^Here is one I found on eBay.

Part # KSB713

^Is this the B13/B14 part#?

^ Hey Reese, a few layers of heat wrap (on the header or the brace) would probably keep it from vibrating.

^I actually had to push the flexpipe up a lot to get the brace on there. Not much flex to the pipe anymore. I'm concerned about that as well.

I am running the progress 3 point on my b13 with a 3" exhaust and its fine. my car is really low so the bar hits at time, so annoying, but progress bar is real close to the piping but it doesn't rub. There is a little less than half inch between the bar and my exhaust but there is only about 4 inches or less between my front bumper and the ground. a brick sitting on its narrow side will f**k my bumper up. I am on b13 stock 14" wheels with modified Eibach springs but i will be running some 15" wheels soon, so that should help. your car looks really high so it should be fine.

Here's an idea, what about relocating the flex pipe? All you (or a muffler shop) would need to do, is cut the flex pipe with 6" or so of pipe on the other side, then flip it.
