"custom" front spindles
Who would be interested?

I am going to design and make some for me. Will interface with OEM parts for durability, but change geometry to fix issues. I also plan to make them to use different calipers for "cheap" big brakes.

I am debating on also making these for others since I really wouldn't be able to make any money on them, but if people are interested I will see what it would actually cost for others.

I am thinking these will end up in the $500-600 range for pair.

These will be designed specifically for timetrial/autox so they will be more aggressive alignment wise than stock. I have some measurements/research to do to see how far I can take it.

These will be designed to be stronger than stock and since they aren't cast I think I should be able to take some weight of them too since material will be better.

Looking at ~6 months maybe before I start to make anything since I have other things to do like racing and building my car... and need time for FEAs.

What isn't there to fix? Camber curves, static camber, bump steer, etc

There are ALOT of issues with B chassis when you lower them if you haven't noticed.

Just asking. You said for "cheap" brakes and I thought to myself, if you're doing cusom $pindle$, are you really going to do cheap brakes? I do realize that lowering a B chassis is pretty detrimental to the geometry of the suspension, but if you're at the right height the losses can be made up for, somewhat in other areas such as LCA in caster and what not. I'd like to see how these come out! BTW, for people that only want a cheap brake setup, go for B15 spindles and Z32's or something like that.

Well relatively cheap brakes. Also the b15 spindles don't place the caliper right so I wouldn't waste my time with them.

"right" height is the wrong height. The geometry limits you which isn't right.

I'm just saying... Everybody accepts all these limitations as "the way it is"... I don't.
