Popping and Whirring noise
Ok so i have a 91 NX. Past couple months i have been fighting a popping and whirring noise. The popping noise is when i turn or hit a bump. First time i changed out my sway bar links and that fixed it. At that time i also swapped out the clutch from a slipping clutch to a new one, so with that, there is more torque going to the wheels. the popping has started back up a couple weeks ago and now there is a whirring on the opposite tire that i turn (if i turn left the passenger tire has a whirring sound). Ball joints and wheel bearings were changed out about a year or 2 ago. The struts are about gone and i am not sure how old the axles are. The axle boots are still intact but i am thinking maybe the cv joints are about to go (since its popping whether i turn or hit a bump). i have also heard about strut springs moving and catching and causing a popping noise. could the wheel bearings already be bad at this point? i know the guy who swapped em out and he doesn't buy cheap parts or do shoddy work. any help would be appreciated! on a tight budget so don't really wanna start replacing stuff just to see what fixes it.

update: jacked my car up and did the 12-6 and 9-3 test on the wheel bearings and the tie rod ends. there is zero movement so i dont think its those.

clicking when turning or hitting a bump is a cv axle issue. popping when hitting a bump or turning is in the suspension. could be a blown strut or worn out strut bearing.
