Turns out what I had was two problems.

First was out-of-round situation.

The problem thAt remains is a vibration that strengthens if I accelerate hard or if I make sharp salom turns at high speeds.
I think it's the axle carrier bracket...

after checking the axles, motor mounts, bearings, carrier bracket the only thing I can think of is the front strut is bad from the wheel hopping I had at the drag strip and thats whats making the vibration under hard acceleration and hard turns at speed.....

Anybody think that a bad strut can cause the vibration?

You got stock rubber on your control arms? Side loads on your car are supported by your control arms... if your bushings are worn out it could be causing you excessive play when you are turning or slaloming?

I do, and I looked at all the bushings and ball joints yesterday and none of them looked like they were bad...

How thorough were you with your wheel bearing inspection? Just the top-to-bottom side-to-side check isn't enough sometimes. I've had a wheel bearing that had failed and there wasn't much play in the wheel at all, however upon taking the wheel off and loosening the axle nut, the hub fell out of the knuckle.

As you can tell, I'm just throwing out ideas here.
