205's vs 195's???
I know the obvious that the 205 50 15's are wider, but tirerack and other car websites recommend 195 50 15's instead, which gives a slightly smaller sidewall and its overall diameter isn't as big as the 205's, which really bothers me(gives it truck look imo:o).....Anybody have any comments on this or have 195's

TireRack's recommendations aren't for enthusiasts.

205 FTW over the 195.

Haha, pick 205's.

That is funny. I jus got new tires and each time I change the size back from one to the other. But, after all these years, 205 is always been the best.

I have 195's right now and I wish they were 205's. I got a great deal on them though and I needed a deal at the time. Next time, I am getting some fat 205's

Good 195 tire is much better than cheap 205. Its not about how wide tire is...

- Buying cheap tires is like buying cheap sandwich bread. No way. Get a quality set of 205's all the way. None of my B13's will ever see less than that.

I only see three all-season choices for 205-50/15, wow what a let down. There used to be a lot more out there.

I think that is why I went back to the 195 width. The BFG's were brand new and had zero reviews and I am not gonna guinea pig some tires. That, and I refuse to buy Kumho tires, they are junk.

Well I guess I am going with the BEST and getting some Bridgestone RE-11's in 205 50 15's ......No need for all season tires for me, I have a set of fuzion somethings all-season mounted on some NX rims for the winter if needed.

Oh and 205's are 531 shipped for all 4 and the 195's are 518 shipped, so price wise its not a big deal anyway.

Check out onlinetires.com if you havent bought them yet. Those same tires shipped to me is $490. Shipping may be different for you but it could be worth a shot.
