I've been using these with slotted rotors on my DD and weekend autoxer with 100% satisfaction.

My personal opinion is that SS lines are not really worth the $$ unless you will be putting your car in the track (any maybe not even then). Although they may improve brake feel (it's hard for me to tell the difference) and ultimately are stronger than factory lines, the SS lines often do not fit the brake line brackets on the struts, and they can deteriorate and get frayed. They are stiff and make it hard to rotate the caliper up to inspect the pads.
For a street car, I personally would get new OEM lines before SS.
I havent upgraded to ss lines, but the combo above has worked great for auto x and it was quite nice at the summit point jefferson circuit last summer.
Some say these pads dust too much. I havent personally dealt with excess dust, but thats subjective.... how much is too much?
