Thread: Hyperco Spring.... SNAPPPED!

Yes as the title states. My front drivers side on my B13 spring snapped. Pics to come. Anyone ever had this happen to them? They were mounted to KYB GR-2s...

Its my old B13 now my brothers car, not sure how it happened neither is he, he said it was fine when he parked it. Went to back out of the driveway, when he went to turn the wheel he heard a horrific clunk clunk. Pulled back into the driveway thinking something came loose or broke. Sure enough the spring snapped. When he gets home and takes the wheel off ill get pics.

I called Hyperco and the guy there sounded as if its never happened before and gave me a return authorization number so they can see what the hell happened as well.

You're the first person I have EVER heard of having this issue.

Yeah I figured so, I have a set on my NX and they are fine. Hyperco makes quality stuff. Definitely not upset more like amazed really. I am sure they will take care of me.

but will they have any b13 springs laying around? I thought they were out of production...

Well if they cant replace them, maybe I can have them exchange the set for a P11 if they make them for them since this car was getting ready to be torn down in favor of a P11 anyway. We will see.

I bet they know where a set are on a shelf somewhere
