Thread: GAB's any good? Worth putting on my car?

I have a set of rear GAB's for a b14 i got for for free and want to know if they are worth putting on the car... This is what i got and besides springs what do i need to make these work? i know i would need tophats, but where do i get them? anything else?

I hear AGX are the exact same thing

OK then can i use stock tophats or do i need aftermarket? and what about bumpstops?

haven't heard that name in at least 10 years. they were around before the OLD forum. back in the mailing list days! they were the shizznit, before there WAS a shizznit. iirc, there was talk back then that there was a slight difference in damping compared to the "new agx" when tested on a shock dyno. a little stiffer, iirc.
unless your broke, buy some agx's and trash all but 1 of the gabs. keep the remaining 1 as a conversation piece
but, if you must use them, you'll need the same parts as just about any other strut swap.
