I have a set of the greg v goodridge lines too but I only have front ones installed, I've had them on there for almost 4 years now and the clear coating is yellowed but not cracked, also I have been parking the car in a garage for 2 years now I don't know if that has had any effect or not, even though I probably have 90,000+ miles on them

I believe uncoated is cheap ebay junk or other sources, clear coated is goodridge, and black coated is technafit, but someone correct me if I'm wrong
.
Sometimes dirt can get in the ss braid and work a hole in the rubber line underneath causing it to blow out like yours

This happened to me too with a Goodridge (uncoated) line. I'm on a 3 year rotation with them now and I don't drive the car much besides on track or to and from.

It happened to me last year the brake line was rubbing on my wheel and I didn't notice until it punctured the line. I would check that but otherwise it might just be from dirt building up underneath the steel braid.

Things fail. Is it at a joint or in the middle of the line?

Your fine with a rubber replacement for now, ideally they should all match.

The ones had from jgy on my b14 lasted me 2 years and still were running strong. The fitment sucked but I made them work.
