RM vs. Hypercoils.... Daily Driver
So I have a set of Gen 2 hypercoils... And I'm not certain I want to use them. I had a set on my last B13, they were great. I used CSK's with them, etc... Koni bump stops...

I have read the road magnet springs are a bit stiffer, and a half inch lower drop. So with my shortened koni's, it has to actually have better control, right?or will I bounce off my bump stops too often? Tulsa roads are not good... Maybe I answered my own question...

I was just scheming what I could buy with the extra $150 I'd have if I sold my hypercoils and bought road magnets... And the 1" drop would certainly look better... But the ride being well balanced is more important to me...

You're not going to have issue with the RM's on CSK's. I rarely hit the bumpstops EVER with my RM/AGX combo on the B14. CSK's give you much more suspension travel than AGX's do.

i thought the B13's had even less suspension travel, but then again, the front suspension is exactly the same as a B14, right??

I like the RM gen2 better. Its only marginally lower (~.25") than hyperco and no soft turn-in. Hands down my favorite of all the traditional style springs period.

I have had both Hyperco gen2/AGX and RM gen2/AGX for a daily.
I put alot of miles on my cars, since I live in the boondocks. .
I actually prefer the Hyperco setup for daily. They ride great to me,and Im an old guy, lol.
But if you put them into some corners hard they will really sine.
I have autocrossed them,with some good reasults,too.
As for the RM/AGX setup...Definately stiffer. Not too terrible for a daily, but noticeable for sure.I have not autocrossed on them, but I suspect they might work a little better due to the extra stiffness...especially at turn in as stated by someone else above.

Dont get me wrong I love both setups....but...
I would actually like to trade my current RM/AGX setup for another Hyperco/AGX setup,if I could,LOL

HMMM.... one thing i liked about my hypercoils where that they were fairly compliant in bumps.. I had a progress rear sway bar and an active tuning RSTB.. so i had killed a lot of the stock understeer.. the car was very fun in the corners.. I think I might be all right with what I have.. I'd need to drive another car with everything else being the same to make a sound decision..

Ah man... You are missing out big time... I had hypercoils and csk's .... Then added active tuning RSTB and a progress RSB and the difference was amazing....
