Brake Chatter
My right rear brake is wobbling when coming to a stop. Now at high speeds and cruising I do not hear or feel it. When coming to a slow (20-0) I can hear it get louder and wobble more as it slows down. It is intermittent. If I apply the parking brake to slow the car down it instantly duplicates the problem. What should I check next? Rotor "looks" fine. Pads are meaty.

Take the rotor in to get checked for warpage. Also inspect the bearing to make sure that is not at fault.

Good call. Will do when I get home Wed. It is a Brembo rotor, so I was trying to rule that out.

Ok. Driving to work this morning and the chatter is ridiculous. Also rotor is burning and smoking. I suspect caliper is sticking. Gotta check the inner pad for wear.

Changed cailper and rotor. Car seems to want to stop to a standstill. I suspect the parking brake cable. Gonna disconnect to see if it is any different.

before that you should drive the car around a bit and feel each caliper find the warm one. That one is the culprit

Yeah Jere. Your right. I disconnected the parking brake cable and it did the same thing. I guess it was the paint on the rotor that was burning off sticking. (I paint all my rotors with VHT for corrosion protection). The chatter was still there, so last night I said F it, tomorrows another day. I tightened the parking brake which was loose and not holdling the car much. Guess what happened then? SOAB. Chatter gone. Un freaking believable. And the car rolls back on inclines so I know it is not sticking.
