Progress LCA brace clearance
Hey folks,

well really wanting to finish up my bolt on chassis modifications with some rigidity up front on the B13 especially since Octotat is making me something special for the back

I have been searching here and the old forum about the progress LCA brace and many had to buy polyurethane hangers to prevent the downpipe from rattling against the bar.

However after hours of reading I found a few folks who offhandedly mentioned their hotshot 3inch downpipes cleared.

Has anyone tried to fit snickers budget header over the bar?

I hate to wake a sleeping cow, but I am dieing to know as the other options are limited and not reliable.

Thanks for any and all help.

Bro honestly, I don't think its going to clear I looked at a picture of "super blacks" car on his website a while back, with the ssac 2.5 dp and the fit was very tight. As matter of fact that's the only reason why I went with the overkill Engineering V2 lca bar .

IIRC, your answer is in here:

http://www.sr20-forum.com/suspension/20822-oem-lca-brace-feeler.html

Happynole has the ASP header, 3" downpipe, it does not clear the Progress LCA.

It does clear the O.E.M. LCA.

Unless I am misunderstanding your question?

I also had to make adjustments to the my Asp dp to fit the front sway bar not much but it still had to be modified.

I liked the way the oem v2 lca bar but it would hit my 2.5 dp. Im pretty sure it was because I had worn out exhaust hangers. but felt great on the road.

I was going to go with the OEM bar, however I am not pleased one bit with their professionalism and after seeing others experiences with them I would be particularly worried about even receiving my bar at all.

I have the OEM lca brace and got it from them in no time. I have had no issues ordering anything from them.

I think all that will change now that they have moved. But that's for another thread.
