Tie rod ends...
OEM or aftermarket? I won't buy them off of eBay, heard too many horror stories. Would end up getting them from NAPA. Anyone had good luck with aftermarket ball joints from local parts stores?

Best place to purchase? Checker lists them at $47 each, which I believe is around the same price as OEM.

Edit: Found them at Rock Auto for $37.

i don't think moog's have zirk fittings anymore to grease'em. Napas are beefy w/ zirk fittings.

blackb15 you talking about the inner or outer tie rod ends?
Inner go with Moog (even over OEM). Outer go with OEM or Moog.
(I'm assuming Moog makes a good outer based on their good quality inner but I've never seen one in person).

I used Moog for both inner and outer and have had no issues for several months now.

BenFenner, I'm mainly talking about the outers because my boots are shot and who knows how long they have been that way. Any reason to replace the inners too?

Nope. No need to replace the inners. They will last for a long, long time and rarely need replacing.
