Yes,replace the rubber, heater hose works just fine
Why replace the tophats unless they are really rusted out {no bushings in the rear
}I should have worded that better. I am replacing the rear two struts, and installing a set of road magnets on all four corners.
I got plenty of rubber hose at work, so I can find something to use there. For the shock hats, they're not in bad shape but I would feel better if I replace them with these:
