Thread: ball joint boot torn, need a new boot?

so i was doing my wheel bearings today and i noticed my ball joint boot is torn, It still has grease in it and it has zero play, anyone know where i can get a new boot kit for my P11?


there's no sense in replacing a perfectly good ball joint if i can just replace the boot ...

see if autozone or whatever local parts store has some energy suspension poly boots, i got a couple pairs with my hyperflex kit and they will not tear, they just go over top of the old boot

autozone/advance also has some tie rod/ball joint boots in their help section. they are sized 1/2", 9/16", etc. they don't fit as good as the ones that come with a new balljoint but they'll keep dirt out.

yeah i was thinking of the ES boot kit, found some on amazon for like 10 bux
