I read the part about the damping curve he wanted. So far I believe the factory is doing their shock dyno testing and sending the info to him. As long as they aren't blowing smoke up his his ass, he should be getting dampers that perform as he has requested.

From reading his posts, the best I can tell about how he has them valved is that he wants initial compression resistance to be high (no talk about rebound as everything he says seems to point to compression tuning, talking about soaking up bumps) but then be less as the shock travels. His idea should give a very stiff ride, but handle giant bumps a bit gracefully. That's his thinking anyway.

At the least, it sounds like a decent track damper. I wouldn't even begin to think about them for the street though unless you were already considering extremely stiff stuff for the street. (Don't confuse "stiff" with "good".)

There's more I could say but it would be pure conjecture and I'd rather not do that.

One thing that seems to help is that he is familiar with the Buddy Club/Apexi/K-Sport/whatever crap and apparently refuses to sell them on principle. That's a plus in my book. Oh, and he's making them all black. =]

whoever wants to get on the group buy needs to contact him this week i think he wants everyone thats in to pay this week.

After the group buy is over the coilovers will cost like $800 or $900 i think, because the price will go up

I believe he said he has them available for both the B13 and the B14. I will try to find that post.

Maybe the shock will be stiff but you can choose the springs rates you want

Yeah when I told him that my daily was on K-Sports and that I hoped his coilovers weren't going to be like that he laughed and started explaining to me why his were better. I am def considering purchasing these although the thing I need to think about is if I should go with a new product (Zankoku Performance Coilovers) or the tried and true (Progress).

I asked him a few questions in the G20.net thread (post #174) that I thought could use answering for those interested.

Does he have this on other car forums? I'd assume so since there is a huge list people buying them with different cars.
