Thread: Motor mount question. Pic inside.

I had a brand new one like that. I noticed the little offset but didnt really think anything of it. So its fine, just pull it out and put in the prothane.

My stock mount was also offset prior to installing the prothane mounts in my vehicle. This little offset could be a reason that my cs dogbone mount did not go in smoothly as planned. As a matter of fact I though Greg V sent me the wrong mount when I first recieved them in the mail. It all turned out fine though.

Oh and the rear prothanes do not work at all with a aftermarket oe replacment rear motor mount.....found that out the hard way, however I did end up getting a hold of a Place Racing mount kit though.

The rear is the one I never got to I know for the driverside prothane it took me 2 jacks the one on the tranny was the emergency jack .but it went thru pretty good.your jack is ur friend or even 2 like I did but im neurotic when it comes to **** lining up so I don't have 2 worry about strippin ****. But let us kno how it went.that's my next and last mount 2 do

All the mounts are in guys. Just after loosening all the rear bracket bolts and using a jack the bolt went in. The rear mount is the hardest by far.

My suggestion: When installing the rear mount make sure the bracket bolts are finger tight and the bolt will line up way easier in the mount. After the bolt is in you can tighten all your bracket bolts up.
