Why would you buy something if you have no idea what it is or what you need to go with it? And you have not read enough on our suspensions yet so keep reading.

Correct! All of your questions can be answered here. I hope Shawn does not see this thread.

Since you know next to nothing about your B14 suspension, how do you know those were a great deal?

Autocross and what else? Daily driver? Road courses?

Track?

Quarter mile terror? Road course? Autocross? What kind of track?

Also, be careful who you trust when you state "any other things you think...". The critical point being who the "you" happens to be. Make sure you take advice from folks who know what they are talking about.

Further, what constitutes "the best"? If you really want the "best suspension" you are talking about spending 4-5K (as in thousand) on your suspension components and chassis reinforcement.

Then you have already wasted your money. GC's are not "the best." However, paired with the right struts (and other components) GC's can be damned good, even an excellent cost effective suspension, if done right. Luckily for you.

However, we really don't know if you want "the best." You don't even know if you want "the best" and I seriously doubt that you do.

Before you spend any more money while you are "so lost", please educate yourself before you drop any more of your hard earned cash.

Thank you sir.

nissanb14jdm - Read that thread (twice, LOL). Then provide us with details on all the uses for your vehicle. AutoX, road courses, daily driving, quarter mile terror, and taking your Granny to her twice-weekly Arthritis Doctor appointments, etc...

Come up with some reasonable budget, what kind of coin can you realistically drop initially? Besides the $100 you already spent, luckily for you on a component that will probably work out in your (currently vague, oblivious, ignorance-based) "plans."

Great minds think alike.

Our new friend is putting the proverbial cart before the horse.

I hope Shawn does not see this thread.

I saw it. Trying to be patient, tactful, friendly, and helpful. Not exactly my strong suits.

BTW, you and Morgan are doing a fine job of pointing our Newbie friend in the right direction.

Pass up ANY other "deal", since you have no real idea what a "deal" is on our suspensions, until you have some actual knowledge under your belt. Your next "deal" might be a total and complete waste of your money.

I know next to nothing about guns, total ignorance on my part. Right now you are like me buying a "deal" on a clip for a gun. Having no idea what I want the gun for, what I am going to shoot, what is legal, what type of gun the clip fits, what type of ammo is available, where the shooting ranges are located, what prey is in season, how much a hunting license costs, whether I can concealed-carry the gun, whether the gun itself is even legal in the States, how much it weighs, how bad is the "kick", if I really need a rifle or a handgun, whether the clip itself or the gun it fits is "high quality", and any other questions that I have not even thought of yet.....BECAUSE I (am clueless, oblivious, ignorant on guns, and) know nothing about guns.

It is pretty obvious, I would need to educate myself on guns before making ANY fire-arms purchases.

When the budget allows, they will eventually be building me some CSK's and I really (really) want one of their gorgeous 3-point FSTB's.
