oem vs aftermarket?
i will be in the market soon to replace all my suspension pieces in terms of preventative maintenance. id rather replace them when i got the chance and have something fail when i dont need it to. car has 143k just about. Ive been looking and searching around, but then again i cant tell what to go with or what gives this advantage and etc...

oem or moog/ or other aftermarket in terms of
tie rod ends
ball joints
stab links
control arm bushings
etc.

I like Moog inner tie rod ends more than OEM but OEM is fine. I have no experience with anything else other than OEM for every other part and OEM is great.

The OEM washers for the front anti-sway bar end links that hold the bushings in place are a known crappy piece. Get thicker from Energy Suspension or similar company if you can.

I'd go with the Energy Suspension swaybar bushing kit all around, should stiffen things up a bit more. Get the Superpro caster bushing for the control arm. Otherwise I can offer no other advise. You might just want to get the ES bushing kit, but there are certain ones you can't use on the rear as it will cause binding. It is probably covered in Shawn's suspension guide.

Just to clarify, Isfahan is stating that there are certain ES bushings not to use in the rear of the vehicle. "Suspension Bind" is a subject of much debate and (IIRC) involves the rear trailing arms (I think, I'd have to go double check). I cover the subject of Suspension Bind thoroughly. Steve (98sr20ve) and Choaderboy II (Mike Kojima) debate the subject at length, and as a late comer, Ben Fenner chimes in.

As for your original questions in the first post, you are correct. Those are not covered in the Suspension Thread.

Looking at your sig, I might have to retract all my comments. Are you asking about your B15? I get so used to everything on this forum being about B13/14's that I forget about the B15 when it isn't trans related...
