......low and racing dont work together. you either set it up right, or slam the piss out of it simply for looks. you will not see a slammed car at the track......if you do he is getting dusted.

IF you want to fiddle with your suspension, coilovers would allow you to slam the car (no more than 1.5" or your suspension geometry will be fuxored) and then raise it back up a 1/2" for the street.

The "best option" would be for you to read the Suspension Thread (Sticky at the top of this section) and then ask any further or clarifying questions. There are too many variables in your current question. Variables that only you can answer (budget, amount of "fiddling" you are comfortable and competent with, how serious you are about the road courses, how "low" is "low" to you, etc...).

I certainly hope that someone with mechanical aptitude takes you up on that offer. I'd love to have a Bilstein option to the Koni's (CSB's anyone?).

i would love to have some bilsteins also but the konis are adjustable unlike the bilstien inserts but for the cost and warranty it will be the last time you have to buy inserts for your coilovers

I would be willing to try this out once the weather warms up and the snow goes away. It would be pointless to install them now and not be able to test them on the road or track.

^^ try to find another ser of rear housings, the fronts are too short. the insert from my Ksport was 11" long, i had to put a little shim, like 1/2" so it will fit snug.

The shim wouldnt be a problem for me anyway. I would have it either cut out on a laser or have one of the guys at work take it to his machine shop to make me a proper shim.

I'd put inserts into your k-sport but you would need 2 more housing. the front one are to short.

So what's the official word on the Blackworks? I don't hear any input on these.

Exactly what's going on did anyone receive their set?
