Suspension experts:R Progress SB Install problem
My set up is Hyperco Gen. II with motivational CSK. I tried to install
rear bar AND I did install per instructions, but with the L bracket installed as per the diagram (with the top of the L up), even if I shorten the hemi link all the way, it's still too long to get it to fit in ?????
Is there some tick I don't k now about ? HELP !

Sorry I didn't catch these posts. You caught me while I was at lunch.
Hope what I said to you over the phone made sense.

For others reading this, I let him know the "L" bracket does not have to be perfectly parallel to the ground. It can be angled to give the clearance he needs as long as nothing binds. Also flipping over the "L" is an option Progress gave him and that's completely acceptable as long as it will go together that way (those end links are like a puzzle).

Last resort might be to cut both halves of the end links to make them shorter.

One thing you do want to remember is that when the two rear wheels are at the same height, there should be no "load" on the bar. Avoid that and any binding and you can be sure you're fine and dandy.

I got it right ! Pretty easy with the bar on and at ride height on ramps. Thanks again Ben

No problem. Any time.
Enjoy!

Edit: Oh, so did you have to angle the things forward? Or did you flip them? What did you have to do? =D

Talked to Progress owner on phone. He said you could flip the bracket and it would hold up. Design and links were for stock ride height. tere is some vertical adjust with bar placement with the frame brackets. But once I got it lowered I could see I didn't need to flip it and no, I didn't have to angle the bracket and the link is still pretty much straight up on the second setting, even with the car on Hypercos. The tick for me was to lower car with the bar on and install the entire built link assembly loose, having to play with the link length a few times in order to be able to simply slide it on together and THEN tighten it up. Man it is nice and quiet !
