This is not a joke. You will be doing them a favor. I don't see why not.

LOL i get what you are saying but, alot of the places where drift events are held arent exactly flat and smooth. I agree the spring rates on the megans are pretty high for a street car. I dont think any of them are even running sway bars anymore.

I dont know how the spring rates on the k sports compare to the megans but the 2 people i know with them installed is my friend tim which has a very powerful street driven 2nd gen dsm and kurt with a mirage and a 1st gen miata, both of which say they could use a bit stiffer of a spring.

Again, it's not the spring rates that are stiff. It's the dampers that don't do their job worth a damn. They don't compress. They might as well be a solid rod.

Solid rods are much cheaper.

Yeah the red car was doing good. I put the Ksports on because I got them cheap. I put them on the car and it handled great. I had it set up really well and went to Gran Tourismo East in Atlanta. I told him to set it up for track only alignment. And he had to do was some camber adjustments. The red car done great. It was one of my most fun cars. Also The SR16 trans actually slowed the car down on the road course. It has an SER gearbox in it and lap times are faster. And for the record Louis it was the EXACT same motor that I took to the Chicago convention.

Guys coilovers are coilovers. I have had them all. K-sports are actually better than Progress. When you compare dollar for dollar. The best overall suspension is AGXs and Hyperco Gen 2s.

Coilovers are not coilovers. If you try comparing Ksports or Megans to Penske or other high dollar suspensions that actually dampen instead of relying on insanely stiff springs, you will be very dissapointed.

Megan Mediocre...

Meagan GOOD!!!!

If your car is a race car and you want baller suspension... pay the money or get a sponsor and quit your bitchin! If you want something to slap on and don't mind mediocre ride quality then megan is fine. Why does it matter... its an SE-R not an R34, lol. MMMmmm Meagan Good.

If you don't want megan suspension, then so be it. Tokes is right. SE-R people are notorious for being cheap or broke. Megan's are fine for a person not able to afford higher quality suspension. And from our (Cali guys) experience on them, they ride fine. NO COMPLAINTS! (yet).
