Hopefully they don't suck like K sports. And if they do, hope that megan has good customer service. A friend and a persom I know had their shocks blow under 10k miles. Luckily ksport has awesome customer service.

I hope your megans are good quality. And if they are not I hope they have good customer service.

60000 plus miles on my Tein SS with daily abuse and auto x makes me recommend them to everyone.

I'm going to try to answer your question Burton.

Here in socal are about 5 guys with megan's on.

Panis_ka! ( daily drives his b13) has set-up for about a year now.
Aaron (not on forum Daily drives his car) has set-up for about a year now.
Kyoshoboy ( daily drove/ no longer in the states) had his megans for about a year.
Panis_ka!'s brother ( daily drives his b13) on megans for about a year.
Shingouki1 ( daily drives) about 6 months with megans.
Prodrifter- Recently installed

and mine soon to be installed.

ALL B13's.

OptimumSE-R is anyone of that group having trouble keeping the ride height set correctly? On the S13 chassis the dual nut locking system they use is notoriously bad. The bottom nut loosens and then both nuts slowly travel down so you lose about an inch of ride height each month. Put the ride height back, and a month later it's down another 1" again.

Have anyone had this problem that you know of?

To answer your question Ben, No. Everyone on that list is happy up to date with their set. But of course, None mentioned above have had ANY kind of track time (drag, road racing, auto-x, etc.) YET.

Prodrifter and I will be hitting the track sometime early next year. As of right now, ONLY STREET driving is what these cars have seen. But then again, We all live in LA. Home of the pothole's and 3ft speed bumps.

Edit: Also, Not to mention Kyoshoboy's b13 was initially the car they used to build them.

Actually he was running away from everyone in the intermediate class. I know Joe wont like it but in all honesty, Rodney's car with K-sports felt better, handled better, and was faster then Joe's progress + VE NX. I know, I rode with both.

Are these Megans a full shock and coil set up or just coilovers like the GC's?

These are full coilovers people.

I took this picture before they were installed.
I bought them from here. Sonic Motor - Power and Performance
But they can be found all over.

Different priorities and budgets for different people. A 45-year old that daily drives his car might have different priorities than a 20-something youngster that uses it as a primary (or secondary) vehicle. Or a guy that keeps his gazzilion horsepower, spotless, turbo beastie in the garage six days a week and cleans it with Q-tips.

I have a rather large amount of money sunk into my suspension (parts plus chassis reinforcement). Much more than I have sunk into my motor (negligible bolt-ons).

Further, I am going to upgrade my AGX's to CSK's, and upgrade my brakes before I swap motors (to a VE).

Other folks have turbo/VE powered vehicles on stock, near stock, or cheap-ass, poorly engineered suspensions. With stock brakes.

Which amazes me.

In any event, thanks Ben and Vadim for the "Cleanup on aisle 14!".

Does anybody know how to figure out who actually makes the coilovers? It ain't Megan. They are simply re-branding something.

Here's the link to the product we are discussing.

I will add the Megans to the Suspension Thread at the next update. I did not even know they offered coilovers.
